Our Christmas project 2009

We are grateful to God for the opportunity to share in different ways our Lord Jesus Christ’s love to many people. Even if this year we didn’t have a large project like last year because of the financial support, we are glad because God helped us to bring happiness and joy in some people’s lives.

Christmas Food aid support

All the people from our charity program received a food aid support parcel just before Christmas. This came from our sponsors – Kids in Romania Foundation and it is a great blessing of God for their basics needs. Most of the people we serve depend on this food aid as they don’t have a reliable financial situation and this monthly help is always a great blessing of God for their needs.

We are thankful to God for such a wonderful opportunity to give this charity gift to all of them. Thousands of thanks to Kids in Romania Foundation for your lovely support.

Christmas Eve with Clara Sandu

We have spent few hours with Clara Sandu in the Christmas Eve at her house from Poiana village. She waited us because she knew that each year we will visit her to give a special Christmas present from our charity ministry. The Sandu family have been in our social program for 4 years and each month the family receives a food & financial support from our sponsors – KIDs in Romania Foundation.

We have a special post on our website about Clara and about our Christmas Eve with her family. Click here to see this website post.

Church services

We had a blessed experience this Christmas on Vladeni and Mihail Kogalniceanu. As you already know from our activities, we are now running two Children’s Clubs in these small villages!  The children had an amazing Christmas program in the first day of this event held at Vladeni Baptist Church and the following day at Bethany Baptist Church in Mihail Kogalniceanu’s .

The children had a wonderful time with songs, poetry, and a Biblical story about Christmas. At the end of the church service, all of them received a Christmas present from our charity ministry. This year, we had a group of 85 children at our church service on Mihail Kogalniceanu Baptist Church.

Thousands of thanks to the Samaritan’s Purse and “Ecce Homo” Organization from Romania for their help with the Christmas gifts. This year, the gifts came from Austria through the agency of the Samaritan’s Purse, based in the United Kingdom.

AIDS Children’s project

We continue to have this special social program in our charity work each three months. As you already know, we visit a hospital here in Botosani where there is a special place allocated to children and adults who have AIDS. They are hospitalized for a while for treatment and we are thankful to God because we can visit these patients and offer them fruits, sweets and a special Christian brochure to read about the Lord Jesus Christ’s salvation.

sidactionWe would like to visit them more often, especially the children but our material and finances are limited. They need support, love and understanding. You may have read in our previous reports, unbelievable but most of them were infected because of a wrong medical treatment. Our hearts cried when we saw their hard suffering.

On December, thanks to the Samaritan’s Purse, we were able to take some of these children a Christmas gift from us. These presents came from Austria this year and it was a great opportunity to share our Lord Jesus Christ’s love to all of them. Most of the children in the hospital had grown up in an orphanage as they have no parents. This Christmas gift was a blessing of God for all of them.

We cannot post any pictures with them. They are in hospital for treatment and we have to protect their identity and privacy. We hope you understand.

“Christmas Child Project” in school, December 2009

We are glad because God helped us to continue our mission “Christmas Child Project” in schools this year. Without the support of “Ecce Homo” Organization and Samaritan’s Purse a project like this couldn’t have happened. We have access to preach the Gospel of Christ in schools during the Christmas period because of the Christmas presents donated for the children. All of the children and their teachers alike have the opportunity to hear about the salvation of Jesus. We praise God for this wonderful opportunity!.

We have a video on our website about the Christmas project 2009 where you can see more pictures of this special Christmas project in schools.

Special Christmas gift

Thanks to a Romanian Missionary Society, some families from a small and poor village situated near Mihail Kogalniceanu village received a special Christmas gift, comprising of winter shoes, warm coats, warm clothes, and food. The people of this village live in an area heavily affected by poverty and we strongly believe that the gifts which these people received just before Christmas time was a great blessing of God for them.

We cannot go to this village to give this special Christmas gift because of the weather. We have planned to meet somewhere in the middle of a field to give these gifts and take some pictures.

A special Christmas gift for lovely children

Thanks to a sponsor of our charity ministry, over 45 children from Mihail Kogalniceanu village received winter gloves for their playing in the snow. They appreciated this very much!  The next day other children had found about this and asked if it would be possible for them to have help with winter gloves. Of course, we have more and we thank God for such a wonderful opportunity to offer them in the winter time.

We have made a video presentation about our Christmas project 2009, where you can see many pictures about this project. If you like this, please send us your thoughts, suggestions … we need this for our future projects. We are always open to suggestions on ways to improve our ministry for the glory of God in Romania!

We also would like to give special thanks to Mr. Cristian Secrieru from Canada who sent us money for our mission Christmas project. His gift meant a lot for us and we are grateful to God for people like him.
