We need your help to fix a major church building situation in the village of Mihail Kogalniceanu, Botosani County – in the NE part of Romania

We have decided to insert this post on our website because this church appeal come from our foundation president, pastor Marius N. Motora. Besides this charity and missionary society, he is involving in a church ministry in Mikail Kogalniceanu, Botosani County – Romania.

Wonderful help for needy people

A friend and colleague of our mission president, pastor Nelu Candrianu from Calafindesti, Suceava County asked him if our brothers and sisters in Christ from Ichimeni were in need of potatoes in December. He knew that small villages in the Botosani counties struggle with great poverty and he thought such a gift would be beneficial especially during the Christmas season.

We confirmed and the following week all families of our church in Ichimeni received this great gift from God to meet their needs. They appreciated very much this help received from the Baptist Church of Calafindesti, Suceava.

Winter shoes – a great blessing for children

We have no words to describe the joy brought in the children’s life this charity gift. We have families with 3 and 4 children and it is hard for them to buy winter shoes to all of them. Such a lovely gift is always a great blessing of God to their social condition.

We are grateful to God for people from England who decided to open their hearts to buy these winter shoes for the needy families. May God bless them all!

All winter shoes are very good and good quality. All children enjoyed very much because of this wonderful gift dedicated to them.

Christmas 2010 – a blessed time

Dear friends,

We just wanted to share with you some aspects of our Christmas projects 2010. We have had a wonderful and blessed time together and we are thankful to God for such a wonderful time. We would like to share this with you all.

Christmas is a time of preparation and of celebration of the birth of our Lord, the Messiah, Jesus Christ. It is a time for fellowship, warmth, gifts, song, good food, memories …  this year like last years, we planned to help others to make Christ Jesus, the center of our Christmas season. God helped us to do that and we are thankful for His wisdom, power and guidance.

Jesus is much more to us than the infant in the cradle, watched over by his mother Mary and Joseph and the shepherds and announced in praise and worship by the angels. He is the reason of this Christmas season and we are thankful to God because the salvation of Christ was spread in different places and many people joined us in a special time of praise and fellowship.

Voronet 2010 – summer camp project

First of all, we want to thank God for the new opportunity of the summer camp in the mountains. Due to worldwide economic problems, I did not think we would have such a wonderful blessing this year. But it shows again that God’s plans are different from people’s plans – Isaiah 55:8-9:“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts”.

All children have seen this new opportunity as a gift from God and we are grateful to Him and to those who made it possible for all of us to be at the summer camp in Voronet.

Thanks to our partners, all children from Vladeni, Mihail Kogalniceanu and Ichimeni received beautiful t-shirts and winter gloves from England and Canada. They were glad and happy to receive it on Easter holiday. In the pictures you can see their joy had when we delivered these t-shirts to them.

Some parents of them called us to thank because of this lovely gift. As you already read in this website post, many of them live in a poverty area of Botosani County and we are absolutely sure this gift was a great blessing of God for all of them.

Thanks to our partners, the children from Mihail Kogalniceanu and Ichimeni just have received lovely gifts: toys.

Last Sunday, during the children ministry we delivered this and it was a great joy for all of them.They live in poor families, families with reduced financial possibilities and this gifts was a great blessings of God for all of them.

We thank you so much to our partners and all people who sent these toys to them to bring in Romania this Easter. We were blessed to receive a charity help with toys, clothes and different things usefully for our charity ministry from Romania.

Thanksgiving 2011

It is the third consecutive year, since “Bethany” Baptist Church from the village of Mihail Kogalniceanu, Botosani County celebrates Thanksgiving community service. It’s a special occasion to say “thank you very much” to God for all His blessings, love, protection, and guidance by Holy Spirit has been given to us.

We had a nice time and blessed by the Lord. Worship service began at around 10 am and we finished somewhere around 17 pm afternoon. The church service had around 3 hours and then we had special thanksgiving meal to all those who participated at this event of the local church.
